Jammie, The additional information didn't make it possible for me to identify your Margaret. However, it did give me some good clues as to how we might be able to identify how she "fits" into the Brigance Clan. There is a Henry J. Brigance (1861, TN-1840, MO) buried in the McGrew Cemetery near Senath, MO. Henry J.'s mother, Mary and several other family members are buried in the McGrew Cemetery. Henry J. had younger sisters named Parlee and Martley. Martely is the way the name appears to have been written in the Census. I'm wondering if this was your Margaret. As you may know, some of the Census takers didn't do a great job recording the Census. Some of Henry J. Brigance's descendants still live in the Senath, MO area. One is a grandson by the name of Bill Brigance. Bill's address is 205 Poplar Dr. Kennett, MO 63857. Phone:(314) 888-4820. You might like to contact Bill to see if he has any knowledge of Margaret or knows how his family might be related to the Poes.
