My information shows the David B. Brigance who died 10/22/1880 in Lauderdale Co., TN to be the father of Sarah Nancy Ann Brigance.
I'm aware James Doss was born in KY (ca 1859), but don't think there is any relationship to the John H. being in KY.
Sarah Nancy Ann has a brother named John.
This information has be been published
in Vol. 1 of the Brigance Genealogy.
