Here is little I have on Robert Bridgeman. I believe he may be related to Matthew Bridgman/Bridgeman born in Bedford Co., VA and married in Surry Co., NC. The Matthew Bridgman family moved into the Washington co., VA area. According to his son, Matthew, he had a life interest in 10 acres of land in Washington Co., VA. Suspect that Robert is also related to Joshua Bridgeman/Bridgman who married Elizabeth Beasley in Stokes co., NC in 1819. Just some hints that may help.
I have a Jeremiah Davis who married a Bridgman girl and a Simmons who married her sister. I have it on my other computer but will send it soon. Please share anything you have on the ancestors of Mary "Polly" Davis.
