Looking for info on the descendents of Robert Bridgman and wife, Mary Davis, of Wythe Co., VA. They were married 25 April 1822, in Wythe Co. Know the siblings, parents and Davis grandparents of Mary as Robert Bridgman was mentioned in the will of Mary's father.
I am a Fanning/Davis researcher and for years have been avoiding research on my German Davis clan as there were at least three distinct Davis clans in the late 1700's, early 1800's in Montgomery/Wythe/Grayson Cos., VA. It will not be easy, but now that I have knowledge of one Davis clan originally from PA that left the VA area for MO settling a ways northwest of Springfield, MO,; another Davis clan was originally Quaker from NC(and PA before NC); and my German Davis clan of probably PA, then Fredrick Co., VA, and finally Montgomery/Wythe Cos., VA, have decided to try and research them. Know it won't be easy, so am looking for all the help I can get.
