Richard’s Castle and general estates. 1552-1874 (75 [records?]).                      These        include grants of the manor and land known as the Park and grant               by Rowland Bradshaw to his son Francis of the keeping of the deer in                      the manor of Richard’s Castle, formerly granted by John Bradshawe,                      deceased, to Richard Cornewall of Burford, and liscense, 1638, by                      Robert, Earl of Lyndsay and others., to William Crowther, to pull down                      his ruinous mansion house called Mary Knowle in Bringwood Chase, the                      remains of which stand upon a bleak unsheltered hill, and to build it on                      another site.

Sea year 1720”.

                            3.) 1754 Letters about the post of Sheriff (of                                            Herefordshire) including a letter from Lord Oxford who                                     applied the Lord President to have Cockram excused.                                     (4 [records?])
