E. Thomas Bridger/Bridges, b. 10 Sep 1852, Twiggs County, GA. Son of Mary (b. 1795, N. C. and Bartlett Bridger (b. 1795, Wayne County, NC). Thomas left Georgia ca. 1875. He is listed in U. S. Census: 1900 Lafayette County, Arkansas, (ED # 113, Sheet 1 B); 1910 Bossier Parish, Louisiana (Jury Ward 3, ED #18, Sheet 6B); 1920 Bossier Parish, Louisiana (Jury Ward 2, ED #22, Sheet 16A). Thomas Bridger married Elsey (Elsie) Rebecca Allums (b. 1872 in Louisiana). Elsey is daughter of Philip Allums (b. 1847in Alabama) and Mary Gasparine Bradley (b. 1847 in Bienville Parish ?Louisiana). I am descendant thru Bridger line and will gladly share info. Thomas is brother to my grandmother. He left Georgia ca. 1875 and little is known of him. I would very much like to know when he died and where he is buried and something of his family. Their one surviving child, Mary Rebecca "Ray" Bridger/Bridges is listed age 11 in 1910. Did Mary Rebecca Bridger marry in Bossier Parish, LA? If so, to whom? I wrote Louisiana archives for death certificate on Bridgers/Bridges for years 1911 to 1929 and none of these three are listed for the state of Louisiana. Did they move back to Arkansas after 1920? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Barbara. email: bcrites1@tampabay.rr.com. Notify Administrator about this message?
