I am researching the Bridger/Bridgers family that came to Yalobusha and Tallahatchie Counties in Mississippi from Wilson County, Tennessee. Sampson Bridgers, who married Elizabeth Nicholson, had children, one of which was Henry Drake Bridgers. Henry was born in Wilson County, TN, and by 1840 was in Yalobusha County, MS. By 1850 he was living in Tallahatchie County, MS. He married Mary A. Murray in MS. and had 5 children.
Would greatly appreciate any information or leads on this family.
