The first Bridgers to live in Bladenboro, NC were the brothers Robert L. and Henry C. Bridger who came there in the 1880's. They were natives of Little River, SC and, to my knowledge, none of their siblings ever lived in Bladenboro. A 1995 family history indicates that they did have a sister named Adlade (Addie) and it appears that she was born sometime between R. L. and H. C. That would place her birth in the 1850's or 1860's. (The family Bible in Bladenboro would probably give her DOB) I guess you have seen the other postings on the site about the Bladenboro line of the Bridger family. The first was posted by Donna Edwards on 8/21/00 and titled "Bridger Family of NC, SC". I don't have any information about your grandmother (could it be great-grandmother?), but would love to hear from you.
Robert Bridger was my dad's great-grandfather and Henry was my mother's grandfather. By the way, the brothers "kept store" on the Waccamaw River in Columbus County, NC before settling in Bladenboro.
