Hi Debbie,
John W. was my great great grandfather. My great grandfather was John C. Bridgeman. His daughter Joan was my grandmother.
I'm not sure about the article I saw -- I think it was an old newspaper from SC -- it had a set of articles under the heading "News from the Dark Corner." I think I found it on google, probably searching for John W. Bridgeman in SC or something of the sort. I'll see if I can find it and send it to you.
I tried to email you the other day, unfortunately my computer did something crazy and the email was never sent. I haven't had much time for anything besides work, homework, and sleeping (I'm working on my Masters) and haven't had a chance to try again. Hope to do so this weekend. I have a few pictures of Hulda Gosnell Bridgeman I can send you.
