I am interested in John Brown (15 Aug 1787-3 Jul 1837, possibly Johnson Co., Indiana) and his wife Frances Bridgman/Bridgeman (3 Aug 1797-23 Dec 1872) They moved from Wythe Co., Virginia to Johnson Co., IN in about 1835. This family stands out in census records because they could not read or write. Their daughter Rhoda married John Tracy in Johnson Co., IN.
I am looking for some connection to Aaron Brown who married Margaret Smith (30 Jul 1797-abt 1839) before 1827 and died before 1841. Margaret was the Daughter of David Smith and Mary Crawford. Aaron and Margaret moved from Wythe Co., Virginia to Johnson Co., Indiana. Their children were Isaac Shepard, Nancy Elizabeth and John Robert. Does any of this connect to your Browns and Bridgemans?
