I received the following in one of the GENFORUM from Amy Murphy:
Nancy Bridgeman married Samuel Abrams in Lawrence County, OH on Dec 6, 1840. Their children were Amassa (1854-1918), Polly, Minerva, Joseph, Margret, Milton, and Bessie. Nancy's first husband died around 1865--right after leaving the army. she remarried a William Canterbury.
I suspect that she was an older daughter of Robert Bridgeman and Polly Davis.
