Hi Donna -
My mother Margaret Paul (as mentioned in Kimberly Hepfer's 7/27/00 message on the Bridendolph message board) was a Bridendolph. Her gr grandfather was John Daniel Bridendolph, brother to Harrison (who married Franey Forsyth).
I don't know if you have access to "Reflections Part 3" by Muriel Myers, however, I was going through my copy to see if there was any answer to your question regarding the marriage of Margaret Snyder to R.V. Bridendolph and found on page 31 a couple of photos of R.V. (Roanoke Vanderbilt) Bridendolph along with the author's "reflections" that he, (R.V.), "had married George and Amanda Snyder's daughter, Maizie, from Fairview Mountain, and they were blessed with three children, Rachel, Dick and their first born, Jean, a daughter, aged 7, who was hit by a car and killed on Christmas morning, while walking down the highway to show a little friend her doll Santa had brought."
For R.V and Margaret, no marriage date mentioned but I hope it gives you some new information.
Just a sidestep, in volume 5, page 109 of Washington County Cemetery Records indicates a Nancy Jean Bridendolph b 3/8/1920 d 12/25/27 she is buried at St. Paul's Lutheran Reformed Church on route 40, near Clear Spring.
The "Reflections" book has other info on related families such as Mills, Hawbaker, Forsyth(e), and Krontz to name a few, along with some others not related but who lived in thearea at the time. However, it contains no index, nor genealogy charts.I would still recommend it if you can get your hands on a copy.
Good luck in your search and if I come across anything else I will be sure to share it with you.
Margaret
