Dear Rick,
Peter Brickley was born around the year 1748. He took the oath of allegiance to the State of Pennsylvania on 29, May 1778. Peter Brickley's will is dated September 18,1804 in Tyrone Township, Cumberland County,Pennsylvania. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier in Captain Bretz's company of Berks County, Penn. His wife's name is not known. He had at least 7 children. He moved to Cumberland County in 1795. His tombstone in Loysville, Perry County, Penn, gives his date of death as Sept. 19,1804, aged 56 years.
Peter bought land on June 3, 1795 from William Gamber and wife Elizabeth in Tyrone Township, Cumberland County, Penn. (this is now in Perry County) OnJune 9, 1797 he bought land from David Kilgore and wife Margaret in the same locality. I hope this helps you out, I am new to all of this and this is information that my cousin has done extensive search on and has many books done on our family history.

Good Luck searching;

Lori
