I have been searching for Brickers that were related to a woman who married into the Donnelly family of Harrisburg, PA.

In the 1900 census for Harrisburg, the following entry shows "Mattie" Bricker:
1900 census 0 Vol 76, Sheet 3, ED 67, Line 43
James Donelly, B June 1876, age 23, married 4 years, he and parents born in PA
listed with Margrett (wife) born 10/1879, age 20, Margrett (daughter) b 6/1899 and
Mattie Bricker (boarder) b 1/1882, single, age 18

I believe that Mattie - a male - is the brother of Margrett [aka Margaret]. I also have Bridget Bricker shown in some records as James Donelly's wife - not sure if this is another name for same woman or else her sister/another Bricker. Their father's name [or the name of someone else in the family] might have been George. I have family recollections of same, but no proof yet.

Your Matthew might be same as Mattie - are the dates similar? Looks like he would have been born in approx. 1882

Please let me know. I have been trying to straighten out this Bricker side - maybe by chasing Mattie I can find my women! :)

Thanks,

Barbara
