Hans Bricker b. 1680, from Switzerland

My records go back to Hans Bricker, born
in Switzerland in 1680, immigrated to the
Pfalz in 1700, perhaps due to religious
wars and persecution in that part of Europe at the time. Son was Peter, born in Pfalz
around 1700, immigrated to Pennsylvania
in 1732 via the port of Cowes in England.
Eventually settled in Cocalico, Penn, built
a farm with house (which still had a German
inscription over the door in mid 1970s),
passed away in 1763. As my family tree is in a closet on the West Coast while I am living on the East Coast, I cannot relate any more
details of descendents for the time being.

Dale

P.S. By the way, I was told be a Swiss
citizen that "Bricker" cannot have been
the original spelling, which is likely
since Peter apparently was unable to
sign the ship's list with his name, only
his "X". It was the "Pink Plaisance", or something to that effect.
