Just for the record....there is none!
Going back to Bricker origins in Europe, it is often repeated that Peter Bricker (1700-1761) came to Pennsylvania on the ship Pink Plaisance in 1732 from "Zweibruecken". In fact, the genealogical society from that area of Germany has informed me that it has no record of a "Peter Bruecker" in the early eighteenth century or any other time. The organization is the "Zweibruecker Arbeitsgemeinschaft fuer Familienforschung".
So now I am looking further afield for information on pre-American Bricker history.....as Peter's mother, Catharine, was said to be a Mylin (or Mayle or Meili), I am looking through the parish records of the village of Duehren in Baden, Germany to see if she is among the number of Mennonite Mayles who I have read once lived there. Perhaps Peter was born there? Next, I'll start looking through parish records of certain towns in neighboring Alsace, such as Bischwiller and Wingen-sur-Moder, which were once a part of the Duchy of Zweibruecken, although considerably far from the town of Zweibruecken itself. The online French telephone book indicates there are presently clusters of Bruckers living in those towns.
Anyone who is up to going through parish records is welcome to grab their "Edna Bentz" (If I Can You Can Decipher Germanic Records) and contact me via email.
