I was told Brucher which is pronounced Brooker by many means bridge. But, it does seem someone else told me another meaning. I have gathered a bit, but, still unable to put it all together. There were supposedly 3 Brucher brother who came to the Sullivan Co Ny, Pa area around Narrowsburg NY. We did find in some book the names of 3 Bruchers who's way was paid to NY by the state. I think it was 1847. But, we are not sure how they relate. I do have the names somewhere.
