Hiram Bricker This makes 9 generations on the Bricker
Side so far that can be traced. This is the history that Hiram Bricker had
wrote about himself in the Fremont Co. Journal. Hiram M. Bricker -
farmer, P.O> High Creek: Born in 1829 (I found 18 Feb 1828 in
Columbiana Co, Ohio and Died 22 March 1914 in Fremont Co, Iowa.
He said he was educated in the common schools and worked on a farm,
then moved to Missouri in 1868 and then in the same year went to
Wisconsin, then came to Iowa in 1873. He located his farm he now has in
1877. He followed moulding for two years and then railroad for four
years. He was married three times. First to Mary Elizabeth Filson in
1851, Second to Susanna Miller which were in the same family and they
married in 1854. Susanna and Hiram had one daughter named Elizabeth
and then she lived in Michigan.

Second, on page 287 of the census:
>> Stroup, Sarah 43 F- OH
>> Brickner, Hiram 22 M- OH- Farmer
>> Stroup, Eli 12 M- OH
>> Stroup, Aaron 10 M- OH
>> Stroup, Joseph 4 M- OH

The only other info that we have so far is that John Bricker might have
emigrated from Poltz which I believe is misspelled. I think it might be
Pfaltz, Germany. And where that was back then is where Switzerland
would be today possibly. He mostly emigrated due to religious
persecutions. Now on his second wife ( which is my gr gr gr
grandmother) Barbara Tzland, a native of Switzerland; their marriage
was around 1860. They had 4 children. Emeline S. ( which became
Kilbourne), Mary H. ( which became Billeen), Ulyesses Oliver Bricker
& Linnaeus - Lynus Elsworth Bricker ( this is mine ). Hiram had a good
farm & orchard, etc.

I would love to speak to anybody who is related to any of these people which are my family. Or could give me any history from Hiram, Michael, Henry, John Bricker. Thanks Sandra SSheldon7@aol.com
