Hi,
Probably there is no connection, but just in case here it goes.
I am searching for a family that arrived from germany around 1873. They settled in sheffield, pensylvania and between 1880 and 1910 they moved to NY.
The family is:
Phillip John Lehman, b. abt 1852 married to Elizabeth (Spearing I believe) Lehman, b. around 1852. They had their first two children in germany (as 1880 federal census) and their third child (up to 1880) in Pensylvannia.
Childs are:
Fritz Lehman, b. 1871-1872
Jacob Lehman b. 1872-1873
Phillip Lehman b. January 12, 1874
Don't know the names of any other children.
