Hi Brian,
I have just started doing my family tree on my dad's side. His name was Proudlock Battensby born in Aberdeen in 1919. He met & married my mum in England in 1944 & had 3 children.
He died in Wiltshire in 1987 of terminal cancer.His dad lived with us for a few years when we lived in Aberdeen before moving back to Wiltshire.
It seems like Thomas Battensby & Mary were probably my Great Grandparents but that's as far as I have gotten.
Hoping u are able to reply to me soon.
