Yes, I do know of Ruth Brewton who married into the Pinckney family. She was a member of the Miles Brewton family, originally of Barbadoes. Miles moved to Charleston, South Carolina, with his family when he was 9 years old. Ruth was born in Charleston. I have a lot of information on this family, if you are still seeking it. The Pinckneys, by the way, are a well-known South Carolina family. The Miles Brewton House is still standing and is quite well-known in Charleston; it is downtown on King Street. Miles died when the ship on which he was travelling to Philadelphia went down. Hope this helps!
