Carson/Brewer/Fisk, AR mid 19th Cent.

My family migrated into the Arkansas Ozarks in the mid-19th Century, settling in what is now Baxter County, Arkansas. Most
of the older relatives in my family are now deceased. And, as I'm still relatively new to searching, I would love to hear from
anyone who has connections in that part of Arkansas.

My ggrandfather was James C. FISK (son of Crawford Fisk called Tanner, as that was his occupation, and Martha Allred;
Crawford and Martha Allred Fisk came to what is now Baxter County from Alabama), wife was Martha Jane CARSON (dau.
of Robert Carson and Emmaline BREWER) -- I have no dates on them. My grandfather was James Evin Fisk, b. 1891, d. 1955,
married Mary Elizabeth Tucker, b. 1891 d. 1981. If anyone can help me get farther back than Robert and Emmaline Brewer Carson, I would appreciate hearing from you.
