Since my last post I found out my g.grandmother was born May 7, 1867 or 69, in Keswick, NB; however, this could also mean Keswick, Bright or Keswick, Douglas, NB.
I am not sure if she was born Harriett A. Brewer who took on the adopted name of Harriett (Hattie) A. Hanson or vice versa. As previously mentioned she had Brewer on her marriage registration but Hanson as her maiden name on all her children's birth registrations. I do know one is her birth name and the other her adopted name as she was only married once.
On her marriage registration she has her parents as William and Martha but I don't know which parents these are??? birth parents or adopted parents as her parents are simply down as Mr. & Mrs. Hanson of England on her death certificate. I am thinking that it is more likely that Mr. & Mrs. Hanson are her adopted parents and maybe she was an illegimate child that was given up for adoption or maybe her mother died and as a result the father let her go to a family member as most of the Hanson's and Brewer's in the area of her birth are related.
If anyone has a familiar story in there family tree maybe you can help me here.
