Marietta, OH - Helen Marie Brewer, 81, passed away March
8, 2011.

She was born May 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph
and Margaret Thomas Hutchins. She was a long time K-Mart
employee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
husband, Lawrence Brewer; son, Wayne Allen Brewer; sisters,
Ethel Burnette and Billie Jo Fleenor; and brother, James
Hutchins.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Brewer, of
Marietta, OH, Peggy J. Palmer and husband Ralph, of
Lakeland, FL, and Mary 'Snookie' Perkins, of Bluff City,
TN; six grandchildren, Beth Yahr and Michael Perkins of
Knoxville, TN, Tony Perkins, of Bristol, TN, Jason
Perkins, of Bluff City, TN, and Shawn Brown, of Marietta,
OH, and Paige Brown Waddell, of Williamstown, WVA; six
great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and two
sisters, Ruth Thompson and husband Samuel, and Peggy Ellem
and husband Charles.

A special thank you goes out to the staff of MMH who
helped in our time of sorrow.

Cremation will take place at Hadley Funeral Home and no
memorial services are planned at Marie's request.

Donations in her memory can be made to Strecker Cancer
Center, 400 Matthew St., Marietta, OH 45750.
