Searching for information about James Crewer Brewer, born 8-4-1831 in Blount County, TN and died Sept. 1895. He married Hettie C. Hatcher who was born in 1830 in Blount county, TN. I think they married 10-10-1850. I also believe James Crewer Brewer served in the 2nd Tennessee Calvary and re-married to Sarah Jane Smith, born 1835 and died in 1893. She is buried in Williamson Chapel cemetery. Sarah and James had 10 (approx.) children, one of which was Joseph. Joseph married Minnie Callie Ridge, the Aunt of the genealogist who has helped me with much of this info.
I am seeking any information about James and his parents. I have research on some of his children but not his parents or grandparents. If you can contribute, I'd really appreciate it.
