I am interested on contacting descendants of William Fletcher Brewer (1801-1874) and wife Martha Fortson who moved from Elbert Co., GA to Black Hawk, Carroll Co., MS, probably before 1850. A known son was William White Brewer and wife Priscilla Cage, also of Black Hawk. Martha Fortson was a daughter of Jesse Fortson and Mary B. White. Martha had a sister Almeda Fortson and William White Brewer also named a daughter Almeta. Mrs. Priscilla C. Brewer was still living in Black Hawk in the 1900 census with children Meta (Almeta?), Mamie, and Walter C. Brewer. Walter was later a physician in Columbus, MS. My email is yonahdells@windstream.net
