Gordon L. 'Hoggie' Brewer, 80, of Lenoir City, TN, passed
away suddenly Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at his home.

He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Holston
Manufacturing in Knoxville. Gordon was a veteran of the
Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of
American Legion Post #70.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Stella
Brewer; an infant brother, brothers, Paul 'Picky' Brewer
and Marion 'Wimpy' Brewer; an infant sister, sisters,
Oneda Vincil and Florence Clabough.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Mary Ruth Fritts
Brewer; special nephew, Mike Fritts and many other nieces
and nephews; brothers-in-law, Don Fritts and wife Roma of
Maryville, TN, and Gilbert Fritts and wife Lousie of New
Baltimore, MI; sister-in-law, Helen Foshee of Shreveport,
LA; and special friend, Mary Yarbrough.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.,
Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Click Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. George
Seay officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity
of your choice.

Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery.

Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
