Anna Lucille Davis Brewer, 80, of Kingsport, Sullivan Co
TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2009,
at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.
She was born in War, WV, and moved to Kingsport in 1952.
She had worked for The Little Stores Super Market and also
Day Care Center. She was a member of West View Missionary
Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle V. Brewer;
parents, Tom and Lottie Jessee Davis; sister, Mable
Compton; and three brothers, Bill Davis, Jack Davis, and
Charlie Davis.
Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Albright and
husband J. B., Paulette Wallen and husband Jack, Betty
Jean Anderson Ware, Geraldine Sykes and husband Norman,
all of Kingsport, TN; two sons, Tommy Anderson and wife,
Betty of Kingsport, TN, David Brewer and wife, Lisa of
Hermitage, TN; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grand-
children; one great great-granddaughter; sister, Mary Lane
of Kingsport, TN; two brothers, Roy Davis of Oak Ridge,
TN, and Bobby Davis of Kingsport, TN; and several nieces
and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.,
Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
520 Watauga Street, Kingsport, TN.
Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel at
7 p.m., conducted by Pastor Mike Stout.
Committal services will be at 11 a.m., on Wednesday,
October 14, 2009, at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport.
Pallbearers will be Jim Cassell, Bob Gott, Jack
Satterfield, Paul Strong, Bill Gott, Mike Brown, and James
Oney. Honorary Pallbearers are Hugh Patterson and Terry
Begley. Family and friends are asked to meet at the
funeral home at 10 a.m.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving
the Brewer family.
