Donald 'Don' Brewer, 71, VA, obituary

LEBANON, VA Donald 'Don' Brewer, 71, passed away on
Sunday, October 12, 2008. Born in Washington County, VA,
on September 1, 1937, he was the son of the late John and
Mary (Hall) Brewer.

He was a member of Hansonville Baptist Church and was
employed at Permatile in Bristol Virginia for 36 years. In
addition to his parents; his mother and father-in-law,
Mckinley and Chloe Breeding; brothers, Jim, Dewey, Clyde
and Joe Brewer; and sister, Nettie Thomas, also preceded
him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Nellie
Breeding Brewer; brothers, Charlie Brewer and wife Helen
and Paul Brewer and wife Laura; six sisters-in-law; six
brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Whited, Jason Whited, Danny
Delano, Glenn Delano, Ron Delano, Michael Delano, Jim
Delano, David Dingus and Adam Breeding.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Breeding, Lonnie
Hopson, Pete Breeding, Ray Dingus, Truman Artrip, Tom
Owens, Dave Smith, Charlie Musick, Bill Musick and Bufford
Breeding.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday,
October 14, 2008, at Owens Funeral Service Chapel, with
the Rev. Duane Musick and the Rev. Roger Phillips
officiating.

Interment will follow at the Breeding Family Cemetery in
the Artrip section of Cleveland, VA.

The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Monday,
October 13, 2008, at the funeral home. Family and friends
may visit anytime at the home of Nellie Brewer, Fincastle
Estates, 57 Courtney Lane, Lebanon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the
staff of Mountain View Nursing Home.

Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
