Brewer researchers-and/or-family members: Julius Brewer`s
death was not in Michigan. In 2001, i posted a gedcom file
( with a couple of errors ) that need to be corrected. I might have listed the abbreviation of Mississippi as Mi instead of Ms. If i did, i apologize for the mistake. I`m not sure if i did or not, as i can`t locate the original file. Also, Julius`s wife Nancy was not a Cherokee Indian. I have been researching Julius ( my GrGrGrandfather ) since the year of 2000. I have gathered quite a bit of info on him, as well as other family members. Julius was involved in the military, but not on the " Trail of Tears " with the Cherokee Indians. It had been published/reported that he had married ( Nancy ) from that excursion ( false ). Julius`s grandaughters ( 2 of ) related to their daughters that their father ( Rial / William Riley Brewer ) was 1/4 Cherokee Indian. If you do the Math, then Nancy could not have been Cherokee Indian, but Julius`s father Lanier, Jr., as stated on the Cherokee Nation website as father of Wiley & Julius with an unknown Cherokee Indian woman, would be correct. Any comments/additions would be weicomed !
