I am the ggg granddaughter of Sarah Angeline Brewer Reynolds. I am trying to find out what her mother's name was. I stumbled on to a marriage document that stated Enoch Brewer (Angeline's father) married Nancy Claxon on 25 Oct 1830 (Owen KY Marriage Records B). I would love to either confirm or dismiss this information.
Enoch's (1st marriage) had 5 children by a Cherokee wife:
Sanders born 1832
Henry P born 1834
Elizabeth Jane born 1835
William Riley born 1836
Sarah Angeline born 1838
3 children by 2nd wife Jane Cates Cantrell (married & issue before Enoch):
John W born 1940
Mary Emaline born 1842
George Marion born 1844
Enoch was married a third time to Jane Jinsey with no issue.
I know this imformation because my Grandmother Reynolds Acton was a little girl when Angeline died.
My direct lineage is Grandmother Living Reynolds & Lee Acton, G Grandfather John Ernest Reynolds & Mittie Simpson, GG Grandfather George Riley Reynolds & Sarah Ann Plunkett, GGG Grandfather Wesley Blasengame Reynolds & Sarah Angeline Brewer, GGGG Grandfather Enoch Brewer & Cherokee Indian.
