I received some papers from my husband's aunt before her passing. On these papers she has listed:
Jacob Brower (later spelled Brewer)
Jacob married Aneta Bograthis (born on October 3, 1663) on October 28, 1682. Their children were:
Sebron Brower (born about 1684), Jacob, William, John, Eonoday??, Adolphus, Amos, Adam, Peter, Anita, and Maggie.
Sebron's children were:
Adam (born about 1707), Jacob (born about 1709), Cornelius (born about 1713), Sibron (born about 1815), Aullsie (born about 1718), Peter (born about 1720), Loretta (born about 1722).
Supposedly, our family descends down through Jacob to Sebron to Jacob to Jacob's son Willis. Another genealogist says this is incorrect, that there is no proof that Willis is Jacob's son (Sebron's grandson). If not, then I would like to find out who Willis's father was. Our Willis was born about 1760 but not sure where.
If any of this sounds familiar please let me know.
