No. I can virtually guarantee that that isn't our line ... I had my brother submit a DNA test through and we're related to Adam Brouwer Berkhoven - probably not a "direct" descent; more likely "collateral".

Phoebe Brewer was left property by her uncle, Samuel Brewer, in his will dated Oct. 18, 1852 (LaRue Co. records). Her name is also mentioned in the book "Lincoln's Birth County in the Civil War".

Phoebe's father, Isaac Brewer, was probably born in Nelson Co./Hardin Co. KY between 1790 and 1800. Isaac Brewer and Ann Carter were married in Hardin County about March 11, 1824.

Isaac's parents were Peter Brewer and Margaret Hoback/Hobach/Hawback (etc.). They appear to have married in Westmoreland County PA (the Tyrone Township/Jacob's Creek area of PA) before they moved to Kentucky in 1787.

I know that Peter had a brother named Samuel (based on affidavits in the Hardin Co. and Mercer Co. KY court records), but I haven't been able to trace the family back further ... except that Samuel's revolutionary war pension affidavit indicates he was born in Sussex Co. NJ and that "afterwards" the family relocated to PA.

Let me know if this helps.
