Yes! I did have the Y-D.N.A. 12,25 and 36 marker test's run through the BREWER PORJECT GROUP and my results matched all the cousin desendents via George Brewer Sr./Sarah Lanier of Virginia, who in turn, George Brewer Sr. is desended from Will Brewer the phisisian and Dennes Baker of 1600's England.

Others and me, before the test results, of many years of researh had already prooven up to William Brewer B;1754 and Ann Cato owning and risiding on land called "Little Lynches Creek" in Lancaster Co., Kershaw district, South Carolina.

Before the results came in, no one knew for certain who this William Brewer1754 was. Roy Brewer's, "The Paint Rock Valley Brewers," had assumed that this William Brewer1754 was the desendent of a German Bruer familiy who settled in Va., but the test's results absolutly ruled that hunch out and prooved that George BrewerSr./Sarah Lanier are this William Brewer1754 grandparents, so the only question left at this point was; Witch son of Geroge BrewerSr. and Sarah Laniers sons was the father of William1754?

Upon working and studying this, I found that nearly every son of George and Sarah/Lanier Brewers sons named one of thier sons William! So I then tried to use what I call, "The process of eliminatin", to narrow down which one is the father of my William1754.

Through strong, however circumstanial evidence, it looks as though George BrewerJr. and Abigail Wyche are the parents of my William Brewer1754.

Here are some strong clues that support this:
#1 Reading of wills/deeds of George BrewerJr. and Abigil Wyche found in this forum state that that their son William was one of the younger four children which places him in his birth year bracket of 1754. This controdicts some researches stating that he was born 1738 or 1744 which is placing him as one of the older, but this will statement supports my 1754 birth of my William Brewer.

#2 In Geroge BrewerJr. and Abigail Wyche's will/deed speaks of John Lynch, sometimes spelled Linch. William1754 and Anns land in called Little Lynchs (sometimes spelled Linches) Creek. This could be where "Little Lynches Creek" got it's name.

#3 Other than GerogeJr Brewers brother, William Brewer and wife Susannah, is the only other son who were around the Catos and was in the Mississippi Territoy, now Washington Co. Alabama.

#4 In wills of George BrewerJr. and Abigail Wyche mentions Negro slaves just as the wills of William1754 and Ann Cato does. One of these is named Lucy and one will that I have of Williams son John and wife Phebe Brewer signed also had one named Lucy in it.

#5 Other researhers (me not knowing at the time), through their works had already placed this William Brewer1754 as son of GeorgeJr. Brewer and Abigail Wynch and some of these researches were of the Cato's.

#6 Recently, I recieved a letter from Kay Austell who said her Aunt who is 80 had been working on my William for over 30 years, which back then knew an older lady in South Carolina who knew of this family. When the lady was asked about it, she stated that to the best of her recollection, that this William1754 was the son of George and Abigail Brewer and that Willimas sons were: William, John, Geoge and Burrwell. Ann Cato's father was Daniel Cato, she said.

Hope this helps....................Doug.
