Posted by: Lynne Chambers (ID *****7408) Date: June 10, 2006 at 16:10:36

I am looking for any information on these 3 men. I believe they may be brothers.

Phillip D. - born about 1820 in Kentucky
In 1860, he is in Hopkins County Kentucky
In 1870, he is in Christian County Kentucky
In 1880, he is in White County Illinois
Wives: Amanda (1st) & Nancy (2nd)
Children - William B., John W., Mary I., Boardly R., Dorinda S.

William - born about 1826 in Kentucky
In 1860, he is in White County Illinois
In 1870, he is in White County Illinois, next door to Finis
In 1880, have found all but one of his children in White County Illinois...he is nowhere to be found
Wife: Nancy
Children: Angeline, James Lemuel, Hulda, Mary J., Maria A., Thomas, Roseana/Rosa

Finis - born about 1830 in Kentucky
In 1860, he is in Todd County Kentucky
In 1870, he is in White County Illinois, next door to William
In 1880, he is in White County Illinois
Wife: Nancy
Children: William, Sarah Jane, James Franklin, John, Elizabeth, Thomas Calhoun, Everett Austin, Isaac E., Mary E.

Hopkins, Christian and Todd are neighboring counties in Kentucky. I cannot find any of these men in 1850. Finis Brewer is a brick wall for me, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I have more info to share if anyone has a connection.
Lynne (Cooper) Chambers
