Don't know if your still pursuing information on James Brewer, Boothbay, ME - but if you have been able to gain additional information on the identify of his father/uncles/brothers, you may be able to get additional information on James by researching the Nathaniel Brewer & Samuel Brewer who were proprietors of two lots of Ancient North Yarmouth in 1721.

My mother was a Brewer, and is decended from Nathaniel; but, I've never heard of a James during this time period - only of a nephew, Edward.
