Thanks Nancy for this notice. For some reason I had not seen it before. It could be from too many birthdays!! I was most interested in Lemuel BREWER, son of RICHARD BREWER AND MARY PYBURN. So much of this family history has been lost. Richard and Mary were my ggggrandpatents on my father's maternal side. Their grandson, John, went West when he was only 14 or 16. Walnut had two big fires, so much history has been lost. If anyone has any information on another son of Richard and Mary's, by the name of William, I would greatly appreciate it. He also was supposed to have fought in the Civil War in IL's 31st Reg. (Logan's Volunteer's). Some said that he died during the war, and others after.
