Yes. Zadock and Joseph Brewer were born in South Carolina and they came with their father John Brewer <from> there. Notice that Roy states that this John Brewer is from,not born, there. John was born in North Carolina, but wound up in South Carolina where he had his sons before they came to Tennesse around between 1810/1820.
Also, that deed listing with the witnesses of John Brewer and Phebe was attached along with others in Roys booklet.
I talked with Roy on the phone not to long ago about this and asked him if he had any proof refferences or had actully seen her name on a censes or anything else along with Johns other than this one deed, and he said ,no he actually didn't, so therefore this left me realizing that the name Phebe was assumed??
As far as Philipina, I got that off the list of nicknames for given names list on the Franklin Co. Tn. website and just thought I'd share this information, just in case this was Phebe which might lead to their marriage and perhaps bring forth a maiden name for her. I try and intensly searh out things like this for clues that might solve matters like this..............Sincerely, Doug.
