Dear Chris,
You have the same information I have, about the rather tragic end of the Goble brothers. In a book by a Roper, descendant of Hannah's second husband Daniel, he says that Daniel was the 'ringleader', and that Stephen was the husband of Hannah, not Daniel. I am sure the Goble descendants
have the right one.....don' they?
I understand that Roper met Hannah at the hanging, in Concord - he was probably there because they hung an Indian known as One-Eyed Jack the same day, and I think Roper may have thought he was responsible for the death of some of his family.
