I have in my notes from Rowan Marriages 1753-1868 -
Brewer, William & Mary Shumaker, married 10 June 1790, Richard Speakes, Bondsman, Basil Gaither, witness. I give you this information as a shot in the dark, but the wife's name is Mary.

There was a William Brewer 2-2-4 on the 1790 NC Rowan census p170. He was not listed in the 1800 Rowan census.

William Brewer b.1852 TN is my greatgrandfather. In my Blankenship line, my 4th greatgrandfather is also William Brewer b1752VA. He was in the revoluntary war (Pension # 3085). Many people list his wife as Phana Risdin so I was glad to see that you had her listed with another William Brewer. Could you give me any more information on this William and Phana? Thank you
