I haven't found a definite answer to my question of who is William's father. Wilson had several brothers, two of whom may be his father. It may be his brother, Nathan, but I haven't found proof yet. Complicating my search is the fact that there were two William Brewers living in Hamilton County during the same period. The county history refers to "Big" Bill, which implies that there was another, "little" Bill.

I did have the oportunity to look at Sarah Brewer-Bonebright's book years ago when I was in the Webster City library, but didn't have a lot of time before it closed.

The search goes on.
