Hi, Carol, I appreciate the response. I didn't find Buckner Brewer in Hinds Co. 1830; but did in Chatham Co., NC, 1830. Looks like he had 3 young males; 4 young females.
The only other Green I've found was mar. 18 Feb 1863 in Stewart Co., Tn, to Etna Williams. No other info.
Checking thru old correspondence I found where 2 dif. people sent info about Brewers who went to Tx.
Greenberry B., s/o of our Geo.& Hannah (Thompson)Brewer, mar. 20 Apr 1826 in Hinds Co., Ms., Sarah Brewer, d/o Henry Brewer (a cousin?). She mar. 2nd Geo. W. Prince 26 Sep 1841 in Nacogdoches, Tx.
With Greenberry, Sarah had: James W.; Nancy; Hannah Ann; Greenberry Jr. (b abt 1833, Hinds Co., Ms.); Henry; George; Hinton; and Culwell C. Brewer.
This your clan?
Still no sign of a Buckner. Will get back to you if I come across him.
Good luck with your search.
