Our ancestor, George Brewer (parents unk), b. 1770-1775 in Ga., mar. Hannah Thompson of Chatham Co., NC. They had a son, Green Berry/Greenberry Brewer. The rest I was told by other researchers = that Green Berry was b. 3 July 1806 in Ga.; died abt 1838 in Nagodoches Co., Tx.; and that he mar. Sarah Brewer, d/o Henry Brewer. Childrens' names I was given: George; Nancy; Green Berry; Hannah Ann; Henry; Culwell.
Geo. & Hannah Thompson Brewer migrated with Thompsons, Ricks and Kendricks (& possibly other Brewers) from the Chatham area abt 1800. They stopped for a time in Ga., then on to the Ms. Territory and then to La. (what is now Washington Parish) About 1820, George & Hannah & their family moved to Hinds Co., Ms., where it is believed both died ca 1830. Several of their children moved to Tex.
Is this the same Greenberry as mentioned in the Buckner Brewer msg.?
If anyone can correct, verify, add to the above, I'd appreciate it.
