Hi Gale,

I saw your message asking for information on the Brewer/Driskills and thought I should give you what I have on them. My descent comes down through two of George Brewer and Sarah Lanier's sons: Nicholas Sr. and Howell Sr.. It comes down to their sons, Nicholas Jr. and Howell Jr. to Nicholas Jr.'s son Isham who married Howell Jr.'s granddaughter Ferabe, who was the daughter of Howell's son Reuben. The Brewers are somewhat confusing, wouldnt you say.

Anyway, to continue -- Isham and Ferabe (also Pherabe) Brewer's daughter, Sinia Brewer (1824-1861) married Lewis Driskill (1841-1829), as you said. Isham and Pherabe's son, Lewis Sr. married: firstly, Elizabeth Newby and secondly, Isabel Hamilton Noble (widow). Lewis and Isabel's eldest daughter, also named Pheriby, but called "Fay" by the family, married Isham Driskill in 1871. Isham was the son of Lewis and Siani Driskill. Isham and Fay Driskill named their daughter Sinia I have a picture of Isham and Fay Driskill, as well as one of Sinia Driskill Doyle. My descent is through Lewis Brewer Sr. and his second wife Isabel Hamilton Noble and their son Lewis Brewer Jr., who was my grandfather. I don't know if this is any help to you, but hope it might be.
Good Luck,
Barbara L. Harrison
