Wilson Brewer of IA and Nathan Brewer Wayne Co., IN

I would like to hear from anyone regarding Nathan Brewer in Wayne Co. IN. According to "History of Brewer Family of NC, TN, IN, and IL by Warren Brewer, a Nathan Brewer received land in Wayne Co., IN on Oct. 31, 1822. Until last week, I assumed that was the Nathan Brewer of Randolph Co., IN. However, after reviewing the bio information on the website about Wilson Brewer of Webster City, IA which states Wilson's father was Nathan Brewer, I realized that the Nathan Brewer of Randoph Co., IN was only 14 years old in 1822, and it would seem to me that at 14 he couldn't get land. I'm inclined to believe this Nathan Brewer of Wayne Co. IN in 1822 is older and possibly the father of Wilson and Nathan Brewer.

Anyone have any info regarding this possibility?

Thanks for any response.
