Thanks for the reply. I am not sure about Abel Brewer, but he is the only Brewer/Morgan couple that fits the bill. Not only was she a Morgan, but Abel Brewer was the only Brewer in Chatham County that had three males the correct ages in 1830. I can not find him in 1840. I do not know if he missed the census, or traveled to another state. If you ever find him in 1840, I can find out if he still had the three males the correct age. Also, another clue, is Charles Alexander Brewer, and his wife, Malinda Jane May, named alot of their children after family. One daughter was named Mary Ann Brewer. Some of their children was named after Malinda's family. One son was named John William Edgar Brewer after two of Charles' brothers, John J. Brewer and William G. Brewer. I do not know who the Edgar was after. The only other two children that I can not place as having been named after family, is the oldest son, Levi Brantson Brewer and my ancestor, Jasper Newton Brewer. Keep me in mind if you ever find out anything!!
