To Update: Family lore says James Booher was the son of Doc(Dr. or Dock?) Booher and a woman named Crowder, but was raised by Doc and his wife as their own.

1920 Knoxville Census shows a Dock and Martha Brewer living with Betty and Rosalee REPASS and William Brewer at 1131 Wray Avenue. This Dock is shown as having been born in IN. If this is my line, the BREWER name might actually be BOOHER. Dock Brewer's age (74) fits, since my James Booher(Brewer) was born Jan. 1872.

Does anyone connect to this line?
