I don't know yet...but when I get around to doing the research (or when someone on this group feels like doing it for me... ;-) ) i'll post what i find...
my parents were stationed in Germany on a US air base...they're not descended from german Brewers...my father tells us his family is descended from Dutch immigrants (which could be why my grandfather's middle name is Holland ??? ) i have no inkling how long ago my Brewer family came to this country...perhaps in time i'll find out...
i'm sure there were Brewer's in Germany...tho the name would likely have been spelled differently. I suppose Brewer could have been anglicized, but how far back in my family, i don't know.
