Hi Robin,

It is nice to hear from you. I have since found a distant relative who sent me a copy of the book, as well as some pictures. I have discovered that there were several books printed in a local publisher from Ashland, Ky. and each one of Lewis' children got a complimentary copy.

I have the large (about 16 x 20) picture of Lewis Brewer's son, Isaiah Brewer. The story that my grandma told me is that all of Isaiah's children were fighting over this picture to see who would get it when he died. His wife, Annie hid it behind a painting and told the children that it was destroyed...end of story? However, Stella liked the actual painting that was in the frame and ended up with it, just to find out many years later what was actually underneath. I have a picture that has Isaiah, Annie, their children and grandchildren in it, which includes Foster, Earl, and Edith Broce (my grandma)(picture also includes Annie's dad, Cy Palmer) I also have pictures of Andrew and Stella (Brewer) Broce. I would love to get copies of any old pictures or momentos that you or your family may have of these lines. Would that be possible?
