Dear Carl,

Can you tell me what happened to Milton, Mitchell and John Brewer after their father Isaac Brewer was killed?
You mentioned in your message that Milton could or would not return home after the war. Did Milton serve in the Civil War?

I am investigating Isaac's death, with the help of Glenn Muncy who has been very generous in supplying material to me. For now, I am still stumped about a possible motive for Isaac's killing other than that it was perhaps an act of random violence during a very dangerous time in KY, regardless if you were a soldier or a civilian.

Also...does Lewis Brewer's book talk about the Civil War? If so, I would be very interested and gladly pay for copies and mailing cost.

Any help and/or information is greatly appreciated.

Cordially,
Marlitta H. Perkins
